62 IEEE members and guests attended the May 14 Spring mixer, Rising Stars and Old Nebulas at the Huddle Entrepreneurship Center in Westlake Village.

In an atmosphere of camaraderie, we gathered in the heart of the Huddle Entrepreneurship Center, a local startup heaven and a bit of ‘Google’ type creative environment here in the Conejo Valley. The energy was high and networking at its best. Nursing a glass of wine and savoring French hors d’oeuvres, the audience enjoyed Zak Cohen’s insights into the patent of the blue jeans by Levi Strauss 142 years ago and how the jeans symbol evolved overtime, becoming an essential element in the California entrepreneurial culture of creativity and inventiveness.
