A large group of IEEE members volunteered to meet with high school and college students interested in engineering at the Entrée to Employment dinner organized by VC innovates and hosted by CLU at the Lundring Events Center.

The goal of VC innovates was to facilitate a conversation between students and real-world engineers in Ventura County. This event opened with a brief keynote address, Engineers 2020, from Nathalie Gosset, IEEE Sr. member and Sr. Director, Alfred E. Mann Institute for Biomedical Engineering at USC. Facilitators seated at each dining table facilitated conversations between students and engineers through a series of pre-defined questions. The
energy was high and everyone left with a great experience.
