On March 4, Buenaventura Section conducted Girls Make STEM with Heart for 91 middle school girls, at Isbell Middle School. This event engages students in interactive activities, and weaves scientific and engineering teaching with fun. Six types of workshops were offered to the girls. Each was a 3-hour long activity with a break for lunch. The event concluded with a visit from the parents to discover the projects that their daughters explored during the day.
