Dr. Deborah Bass, Manager for the Mission Systems Engineering Section at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, was welcomed by a full auditorium at CLU on July 16, 2015. Dr. Bass talked about her work at JPL on the Mars 2020 Rover that is being designed to advance high-priority science goals for Mars exploration. More than 95 people heard details about this upcoming space mission that will explore the potential habitability of the rover’s landing site and directly search for signs of ancient life on Mars.
