Section Mixer and Cybersecurity Panel: On November 7, IEEE Buenaventura Section hosted a panel at Hub101 entitled "Cybersecurity - A Boardroom Topic". The event featured a panel of experts in cybersecurity including CLU faculty members and top industry management leaders, covering the subject of cybersecurity in organizations from a managerial point of view. (photos, video) Educational Activities Board Award: On November 22, IEEE Buenaventura Section was recognized by the Educational Activities Board (EAB) at an awards ceremony in in Boston, MA. This recognition acknowledges the Engineer-to-Entrepreneur program launched at the Hub101 at California Lutheran University, the Aging Graciously with Technology initiative, and the Girls Make Tech with Heart program. Representing the section were Nathalie Gosset, Past Section Chair; Darrell Gooden, Entrepreneurship Chair; Doug Askegard, representing Life Member Affinity Group, and S.K. Ramesh, Past EAB Chair.
